Daniel Farke met with Leeds United’s recruitment team on Wednesday to discuss ideas on the club’s transfer strategy.
That is according to Graham Smyth of the Yorkshire Evening Post, who reports that Farke was presented with potential ideas for signings by the club’s transfer committee.
Farke’s appointment at Leeds was confirmed on Tuesday evening with the 46-year-old enjoying a busy first full day as manager, ahead of what is set to be a manic summer.
On top of his meeting with the recruitment team, Farke also took his first training session with his new squad with preparations now having been ramped up for the new season.
Despite a slow start to the window, Leeds are expecting plenty of incomings and outgoings before the deadline in just under two months’ time.

Before signings can be made, Leeds are still waiting for the greenlight from the EFL for their prospective takeover from the San Francisco 49ers Enterprises that was agreed four weeks ago.
In the mean time, Leeds will undoubtedly be laying the ground work so they can be completed quickly once they do, as expected, receive approval.
Farke revealed in his first interview after his appointment that he has already held positive talks with Nick Hammond, who is the club’s interim football advisor until the end of the window.
He also acknowledged that the squad he is in charge of at the moment is likely to look a whole lot different to the one that will be here at the end of August.
These sort of conversations are paramount for Leeds so they can really begin work on incoming signings and not be left scrambling once EFL ratification finally arrives.
