Speaking to talkSPORT, the former Aston Villa striker claimed that Leeds will ‘bottle’ promotion again due to Illan Meslier and believes Bielsa should reinstate his position.

“Leeds, throwing points away left, right and centre,” Agbonlahor said.

“He (Meslier) bottled promotion last year, and he’ll do it again.

“Bring back Bielsa’s bucket cause they are miles off it.”

With Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United now leading the race, frustration has crept in within the Leeds camp.

Farke’s decision to stick with Meslier could end up not only costing Leeds but potentially his job, as the Whites are now the team catching-up.

Bielsa was relied upon in his tenure at Elland Road, and the owners may look his way again to finally get them out of the Championship.

The former Whites boss was vital in their last promotion, as Bielsa galvinised Leeds, which is something Farke is lacking at the moment.

Time is running out in the season, and a clear statement will have to be made against Luton on Saturday, otherwise, Bielsa could be in the frame again.
