Leeds United fans left the MKM Stadium frustrated, as will Daniel Farke and the players, after the Whites saw a 3-1 lead over Hull City finish as a 3-3 draw.
Leeds United remain at the top of the Championship table. But what was a five-point lead at the start of the day has now turned into a one-point lead, after Daniel Farke’s side drew 3-3 away at Hull City.
Burnley meanwhile beat Blackburn Rovers in the day’s early kick off, and Sheffield United won 2-1 at Watford, on an all round bad day for Leeds United.
Hull opened the scoring through Abu Kamara but Leeds were in front by the hour mark, with Ao Tanaka and Dan James scoring after the break.
Joel Piroe then netted his 10th league goal of the season and Leeds seemingly had the win wrapped up at 3-1. But Hull scored two goals and eventually took a point, which is arguably no less than they deserved.

Tony Dorigo blasts Max Wober after Hull City opener
Hull’s opening goal got a lot of Leeds United fans talking on social media, with many blaming Meslier for coming off his line too early and allowing Kamara the chance to lob the ball over him with relative ease.
But Tony Dorigo suggested that full-back Max Wober is more to blame. The Austrian came into the XI in place of Sam Byram but got caught way too far forward for Hull’s goal, just as Kamara was slipping in behind him and indeed the whole of the Leeds defence.
Dorigo said on LUTV commentary: “What are we doing at the back? Why aren’t we picking up Kamara? He’s in acres of space on that right hand side.
“The ball was a good one as well, wasn’t it. But, when you have that much space, you really should be closing them down, not allowing the pass.
“But then, just pick up your man instead. Max Wober, not exactly sure where he was, but Kamara has his chance and he takes it well.”

Daniel Farke’s Leeds United changes vs Hull City explained
Farke made two changes to the Leeds XI that faced Blackburn Rovers in the previous outing, swapping Wober for Byram at left-back and Ethan Ampadu for Pascal Struijk at centre-back.
Before the game, it was revealed that Struijk missed out with an ankle injury, along with Patrick Bamford who has a hamstring injury, whilst Byram was seemingly dropped.
Leeds United fans blasted Byram’s performance against Blackburn and Wober seemed like a better option from the off against Hull. But he was caught out for Kamara’s goal, along with Meslier, in what was a bit of a calamity at the back for Leeds which summed up the game as a whole.
Up next for the Whites is a home game against League Two Harrogate Town in the FA Cup next Saturday, with kick off at 5:45pm.
