Leeds United are set to re-sign Sam Byram on a free transfer following his release from Norwich City.
That is according to 90min.com, who report Byram is poised to reunite with his former boss Daniel Farke at the club where his professional career began over 10 years ago.
This latest update comes just days after Leeds Live reported Byram was training with the Whites in a bid to maintain his fitness while he waits to find a move.
Byram was released by fellow Championship side Norwich last month and is yet to put pen-to-paper on a contract at a new club after a terrible few years on the injury front.
However, if this new report is indeed to be believed, then Byram could well be re-joining both his old side and manager ahead of the start of the Championship season.

Byram would offer versatility to Farke’s squad with the 29-year-old capable of playing on either side of the defence, or even as a winger.
With Cody Drameh and Luke Ayling already on the books, he may find game time hard to come by at right-back, though opportunities could arise on the other side with a recognised left-back still to be signed.
Should a return go ahead, Byram would be returning to the club where he made just shy of 150 appearances before moving to West Ham United.
Given the injury problems he has endured since, Leeds remains the place where he arguably enjoyed the best part of his career, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists.
In fact, in the seven-and-a-half-years that have proceeded his Elland Road exit, he has played just 98 times.
