Sam Parkin has delivered his score prediction for Leeds United’s trip to Blackburn Rovers as Daniel Farke’s side bid to make it a nine-point week.
Leeds sit top of the Championship heading into the weekend and on the back of picking up three successive victories for the first time this season.
A 2-0 victory over QPR before the international has been backed up by wins against Swansea City and Luton Town, the last of which was extremely comprehensive.
Blackburn represent arguably the most difficult fixture on paper this week as they sit eighth in the table just two points adrift of the top six, after picking up a hugely impressive win at Middlesbrough in midweek.
Rovers boss John Eustace has tipped Leeds for a top two finish ahead of the game but as shown last through his two victories over Daniel Farke last season, he knows the formula to get a result.

Sam Parkin predicts Blackburn vs Leeds result
As mentioned, Eustace was on the winning side twice against Leeds in 2023/24, first with Birmingham City in August, and then Blackburn Rovers in April. Both were by a 1-0 scoreline.
Blackburn also head into this one in good form thanks to back-to-back victories, having actually been on a run of five defeats in eight beforehand.
However, Leeds have really began to pick up ahead of steam since losing to Millwall as Farke recognises this is a time in the season where they can really take the ascendancy in this top two race.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Championship Predictions Podcast, former Ipswich and Luton Town striker Parkin has given his thoughts ahead of the match.
He is backing Leeds to come away with a third win in six days, but by a margin considerably smaller than the one that defeated Luton.
He said: “I am just going to go cliched low scoring, Leeds a little bit more in attack, 0-1.”
Predicted Leeds XI to face Blackburn
Despite such a strong performance in midweek Farke will have to make some changes to his side in order to keep things fresh.
One alteration is almost certainly set to arrive at left-back with Junior Firpo now back from suspension at the perfect time after Sam Byram’s minor hamstring niggle on Wednesday.
Another change for Leeds is likely to come in attack with Dan James bidding to return to the starting XI after a week that has seen him score one and assist three.
Despite Manor Solomon’s resurgence in form, he is the most likely to makeway, with it important his fitness his managed after nursing some cramp against Luton.
