Dominic Calvert-Lewin set goal target for England recall
Speaking on TalkSport Breakfast on the morning of 1st January, O’Hara praised Leeds’ star striker for his return to form and fitness at Elland Road.
However, despite having eight Premier League goals to his name already this season, O’Hara believes Calvert-Lewin could still need to score 10 more to tempt Tuchel to add him to his World Cup plans.
O’Hara said: “He makes great runs, Calvert-Lewin. When he’s fit, he’s a good player. It’s keeping him fit.
“He’s got an outside chance, I think, of potentially getting a World Cup spot. But, I reckon he’s got to get another 10 goals.
“But he’s done so well to get back fit. People forget how good he was. He played for England. He scored goals. He was made of glass. It looks like Leeds have got him firing.

“He looks solid. He looks like he can run. He looks like he can get across the front man. When you’ve got a player like that, he can keep you up.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has mixed track record v Liverpool
Calvert-Lewin helped spark Leeds’ revival in the reverse fixture against Liverpool earlier this season, as his penalty gave his side a lifeline in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
That goal was his third in 13 Premier League appearances against the Reds, according to TransferMarkt, as he looks to extend his impressive recent form.

Calvert-Lewin’s form against Liverpool is also improving. Having failed to find the net in his first eight appearances against the Reds, he has managed three goals and one assist in his last five league outings.
With Daniel Farke looking to pick up where he left off at the end of 2025, Calvert-Lewin will be crucial to his hopes of picking up another against-the-odds result at Anfield.
