Leeds United and Bournemouth have reached an agreement for a fee of £23 million + add-ons for Tyler Adams.
That is according to Phil Hay of the Athletic, who reports the clubs are in ‘continued negotiations’ as the two clubs look to strike an agreement.
As per Fabrizio Romano earlier this week, Bournemouth activated the £20 million release clause in Adams’ contract, which should, in theory, of given him the green light to travel to the South Coast and complete the formalities of a deal.
However, Adams was in training at Leeds over the last few days with the Whites insisting his clause had not been met, and it had in fact expired.
It now appears the two clubs are edging closer to an agreement, though, with Romano stating a deal could be done in the next 24 hours with a medical booked in London today.

Adams has given the green light on a move to Bournemouth and will become Leeds’ first big money exit of the summer.
Leeds have lost several members of last season’s first team squad, but only Rodrigo – at £3.5 million – has generated anything in the way of transfer funds.
It is clear San Francisco 49ers Enterprises have looked to tread carefully in terms of profit and sustainability rules this summer.
However, if Leeds are to receive the £23 million as suggested by Hay, that will be hugely beneficial in terms of what can be spent in the market.
Hopefully this can be the catalyst to really kick starting some incoming transfer action at Elland Road.
