‘Difficult for me’… Simon Jordan shares prediction for Leeds United’s trip to Millwall

Simon Jordan has shared his thoughts on Millwall’s recent run of form and whether it will be enough to get a result against Leeds United.

Neil Harris’ side head into the match on the back of three wins in a row, taking them from the relegation zone to just outside the Championship’s top six.

The Den hasn’t always been a happy hunting ground for Leeds with last season’s 3-0 their first away at Millwall since 2012, a run which spanned six matches.

However, this is certainly a Millwall team in a much better place than that day, with Leeds (47) the only club to have picked up more points than the Lions (45) in the Championship since his appointment in February.

And Harris certainly hasn’t minced his words when discussing Millwall’s clash with Leeds, clearly viewing it as their biggest game of the season.

Jordan predicts Millwall vs Leeds result

While Millwall are in brilliant form, Leeds are also on a strong unbeaten run of their own. Their one and only defeat of the season came eight matches ago at Elland Road against Burnley.

However, considering the history of the fixture, this may be Leeds’ most difficult match yet, even after playing both Sunderland and Sheffield United in October.

And after the Blades’ late show at Bristol City last night, only a win would suffice for Leeds to climb back into the top two.

Speaking on talkSPORT ahead of the match, pundit Jordan has backed Leeds to come away with a result even after Millwall’s recent run of form.

He said: “It’s very difficult for me to observe on Millwall as a South London rival of Crystal Palace with any great degree of enthusiasm, but I think Leeds will get a result.

“I don’t think Millwall are in any great shape just because they’re eighth in the Championship. Leeds are going great guns, aren’t they?”

Sam Parkin also predicts Millwall vs Leeds score

Jordan isn’t the only pundit to have shared his prediction for Millwall against Leeds later, with EFL pundit Sam Parkin also having done so.

Like Jordan, Parkin is also anticipating a close Leeds win, though does believe Millwall will make it difficult for Daniel Farke’s side.

He said: “I think Millwall have been excellent, I think they are up to seventh, aren’t they? Which is incredible. They are looking really creative as well.

“I think those numbers [in the] early part of the season are showing that there are quite a lot of truth in that they are a much better attacking force this season with the new-look attack.

“I think they will score, but difficult for the lads to raise themselves time and time again when you have not got the depth of maybe a Leeds and the other teams they are battling against. I will go for Leeds, narrowly 2-1 away win.”
