David Prutton is expecting a tight affair in Leeds United’s return to Championship action against Swansea City.
A first win on the road in two months would see Leeds climb to the top of the table following draws for both Sheffield United and Sunderland on Saturday.
Swansea boss Luke Williams hailed Leeds as an ‘incredible’ team in his press conference but has certainly overseen plenty of improvement on his team since the last meeting in February.
Leeds dismantled Swansea 4-0 in South Wales with Wilfried Gnonto (2) and Joel Piroe among those on the scoresheet, but Williams’ side are now much better at the back.
Only Leeds, Burnley and Sheffield United have conceded fewer goals in the Championship this season, though goals at the other end haven’t exactly been flying in.

Prutton predicts Swansea vs Leeds scoreline
Leeds certainly head into this game as favourites but their form on the road is something that needs to improve if they are to come out with three points.
Farke‘s side have won just two of their seven away matches so far and defeat at Millwall last time out was a frustrating one to take.
However, speaking on the latest episode of the Essential EFL Podcast, Prutton has tipped Leeds to come away with maximum points from Swansea, all be it by a narrow margin.
He said: “Listen Leeds (got) back to winning ways against QPR after that kind of aberration at Millwall. Swansea and Luke, again we spoke about Bristol City doing relatively well, Swansea find themselves 11th.
“I think it will be a tough old task for Leeds down there. There’s always a bit of bite to this game as well. I mean obviously Leeds tend to find enemies wherever they go.
“The significance of these two playing each other in the second tier, I think is one to keep an eye on. The atmosphere should be electric. Swansea 1-2 Leeds.”
Parkin predicts same scoreline as Prutton for Swansea vs Leeds
EFL pundit Sam Parkin also shared his prediction for the game earlier this week and has the same opinion as Prutton.
Parkin had initially predicted Leeds to pick up a win and another clean sheet, before going onto change his mind by suggesting Swansea will get on the board.
He said: “I was gonna go the exact same [2-0] but I will give Swansea a goal and say 2-1.”
