Leeds United host Plymouth Argyle in their final match before the third international break of the season.
The Whites will be looking to round off another busy period of fixtures with a third successive victory, but face a Plymouth side who know where the back of the net is.
On the other hand, Plymouth also have one of the Championship’s leakiest defences and with the attacking quality Leeds have at their disposal, they will be looking to make that count.
Daniel Farke has found a settled front four in recent weeks, with Georginio Rutter, Joel Piroe, Crysencio Summerville and Dan James continuing to play better and better the more they play together.
However, this just might be the game to hand the ‘special’ Wilfried Gnonto just his second start since September after injury.
Farke should consider Gnonto recall
James has been really good in recent weeks but this just might well be the game to some minutes and confidence back into Gnonto, up against a struggling defensive unit.
His skill and dribbling ability can be a menace for anyone in this division and with Plymouth looking stretched at full-back due to the suspension of Mickel Miller, this could be the game for him to showcase that.
Gnonto will undoubtedly be feeling a little disappointed by his contributions in recent weeks. He was largely ineffective in his start at Stoke City, came on for half-an-hour against Huddersfield Town when the game was done, and got just one minute at Leicester City.
In order for him to discover some of that magic we saw last season, he is going to need more game time than that a home match against a leaky defence seems the perfect scenario to do so.
If things aren’t going to plan, or if Leeds are looking to kill the game off on the counter, Farke would then have the perfect substitute in James for either scenario.
