Daniel Farke has confirmed Joe Rodon, Crysencio Summerville and Sam Byram all look set to be available for Leeds United’s trip to Leicester City.
Farke was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Leeds’ trip to the King Power Stadium, where he was asked to provide an update on the fitness of all three players.
Rodon was substituted in the 63rd minute of Leeds’ 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town at the weekend after feeling some apparent discomfort in his hamstring.
Summerville, meanwhile, was replaced a matter of moments earlier alongside Byram, having scored twice and assisted a further two in the demolition of their West Yorkshire rivals.
Farke claimed after the match he was ‘carefully optimistic’ that both players would be fit enough to face the Foxes, providing a further update on their condition this afternoon.

Speaking on how likely it would be that all three feature, Farke is expecting them to be available providing they come through training unscathed today.
He said: “There were a few players with concerns in the last game, Joe Rodon, Sam Byram and Cree Summerville, yes I substituted all three of them. We took care of them and they were able to train today. If there’s no reaction they’re all available.”

This is excellent news as Leeds simply could not have done without any of those three players for a match against a side who have won 13 of their 14 league matches.
Summerville is currently arguably the most in-form player in the division, scoring five goals and assisting a further three across the month of October.
Rodon and Byram, meanwhile, are both crucial to Leeds’ back four and particularly in the case of the former, it has already been proven he cannot be replaced.
