Daniel Farke has provided a positive update on the fitness of Leeds United duo Jack Harrison and Tyler Adams.
Farke was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Cardiff City on Sunday, where he confirmed Adams is well down the line on his road to recovery, with Harrison a bit further behind.
Adams has been out of action since March after picking up a serious hamstring injury in training that meant he missed the entirety of Leeds‘ Premier League run-in.

The 24-year-old had looked set to return for international duty for USA in June but picked up a recurrence of the issue which set him back considerably on the comeback trail.
Harrison, meanwhile, was playing with a hip problem in the final few weeks of the campaign and has spent the summer looking to get back to full fitness.
Farke provides new injury timeline on Leeds duo Adams and Harrison
Farke last provided an update on the duo’s fitness after the defeat against Monaco two weeks’ ago, and has claimed both have improved since then.
He said: “Yes improved after we spoke the last time, two weeks ago. So I think Tyler’s hopefully not too far away from returning back to team training. With Jack it will last perhaps even a bit longer. I spoke about it, I just expect them to be really the mix of competitive games after the international break.
“Hopefully Tyler can return earlier and get back to team training but he was out for such a long time. He needs also bits of training, it’s not like, OK, he’s back into training and then just after six hours he can play the first competitive game. He needs a few days of training, it will be the same as Jack so I expect them just to be really in the mix after the first international break.”

Particularly in the case of Adams, this is excellent news with Leeds still looking light in midfield despite the addition of Ethan Ampadu last month.
Adams posted a video of himself back on the grass just over a week ago, and to hear he is closing in on returning to full training is a welcome boost.
From Harrison’s perspective, it is important he comes back when he is fully ready given how long he has been nursing this issue. Leeds can ill afford him to be playing at less than 100% again.
