Leeds United’s attentions around the club can soon turn to the 2025/26 season, but supporters won’t forget their achievements in the Championship this campaign for a long, long time.
Daniel Farke has built a Leeds United side who are absolutely breathtaking at their best, with EFL expert Ali Maxwell outlining their absolute brilliance this season. Their 95 total goals scored is 24 higher than anyone else in the 2024/25 second tier campaign.

Leeds’ 100 points made them centurions alongside Burnley. That is a remarkable achievement but is not the only record they have smashed on their way to promotion back to the Premier League at the second attempt.
Leeds scored more late goals than any other team after the 86th minute, which is perhaps one of their most impressive accolades. However, more have since been revealed despite the season ending over a week ago for the Whites.

Leeds United set new record in the Championship
Leeds were a winning machine this season, securing more victories than in any other year in the club’s history with 29. Their +65 goal difference illustrates their dominance in those triumphs.
Only eight of those came by a solitary goal, with Leeds putting teams to the sword by two or more goals with regularity. The club is riding the crest of a wave and it doesn’t look like slowing down amidst plans to extend the capacity of Elland Road and with an exciting summer transfer window for Leeds ahead.
LUFCDATA on Twitter/X has outlined Leeds set a new club record for the most ‘league doubles’ victories over opponents in a single league season with 10. It is more than either Marcelo Bielsa or Don Revie managed in their iconic spells at Leeds as well.
| League position | Opponent | Home | Away |
| 3rd | Sheffield United | 2-0 | 3-1 |
| 5th | Coventry City | 3-0 | 2-0 |
| 10th | Middlesbrough | 3-1 | 1-0 |
| 12th | Sheffield Wednesday | 3-0 | 2-0 |
| 14th | Watford | 2-1 | 4-0 |
| 17th | Oxford United | 4-0 | 1-0 |
| 18th | Stoke City | 6-0 | 2-0 |
| 19th | Derby County | 2-0 | 1-0 |
| 23rd | Plymouth Argyle | 3-0 | 2-1 |
| 24th | Cardiff City | 7-0 | 2-0 |
The staggering part of the 10 victories is the sheer volume of clean sheets as well. Once Leeds went ahead, they almost always stayed ahead, having conceded just four times in these 20 fixtures.

Which teams did Leeds fail to beat even once in 2024/25?
Of course, you can’t beat everyone in a season — although Leeds had a real go at it. On top of their 10 doubles, Leeds also beat nine other teams at least once.
That means there were just four teams to stop Leeds, albeit none of them were able to do the double over the Whites. As shown below, Leeds were only beaten four times all season, with Millwall and Leeds winning one apiece in their two games home and away.
| League position | Opponent | Home | Away |
| 2nd | Burnley | 0-1 | 0-0 |
| 7th | Blackburn Rovers | 1-1 | 0-1 |
| 9th | West Brom | 1-1 | 0-0 |
| 16th | Portsmouth | 3-3 | 0-1 |
The Whites were relentless and dominant all year long and were rarely kept totally at bay. Arguably, they were somewhat unlucky in a number of games they failed to win as well, but they often found a way to get over the line.
Leeds must now spend wisely and the 49ers could green-light investment in the summer window soon. To get over the dotted relegation line, savvy recruitment is required.
