Joe Rodon continued to shine for Leeds United on Sunday as he helped us keep another clean sheet in our win over Millwall – and Connor Roberts posted a hilarious message on Rodon’s Instagram.
Rodon, 26, has arguably been the signing of the season as the Tottenham man continues to rediscover his best form after three difficult years – struggling for games at Spurs, and finding it hard at Rennes.
At Leeds, he is proving a point. With 40 games under his belt in a Leeds shirt, he is now a huge part of Daniel Farke’s side. One of the first names on the team sheet, a player Leeds must sign permanently.
Ange Postecoglou said before the start of the weekend’s games that Spurs would be looking to sign a new centre-back in the summer – perhaps, handing Leeds a boost in the race to land the Wales star.
Indeed, Rodon has made it clear that he would like to play for us in the Premier League. He won’t come cheap, with reports stating between £10m and £15m is needed. He posted on Instagram on Sunday.

But if Leeds have any nous about them, we need to be doing a deal for Rodon before the start of next season – no matter what division Leeds find themselves in. Surely, it is going to be the Premier League.

Rodon has played every single minute. He is absolutely flying for Leeds, and if we do go up – Rodon will have played an enormous part of a promotion campaign. Roberts hilariously labelled Rodon as “magic”.
