Considering Leeds United are one of the largest and most historic clubs in all of English football, it isn’t at all surprising that they have a lot of famous supporters.

They are now back in the Premier League, having been in the Championship for the last two seasons. They will look to consolidate their place under the management of three-time winner of the Championship, Daniel Farke.

That achievement alone should bring more fans to the club, with the spotlight on Leeds United more in English football’s top tier against elite clubs competing in various European competitions. The size of the task cannot be understated.

It’ll take some collective effort from the club but the 49ers have collected a ‘jaw-dropping’ windfall from promotion, and the question over how much Leeds can then spend remains to be answered until the summer deals are all finalised.

Ralph Ineson performs a Leeds salute on Fantastic Four tour

Leeds will be roared on by a huge and vocal Elland Road crowd next term, with Leeds fans a particularly loyal bunch in West Yorkshire. But they also have the famous faces which will be seen throughout the season at different Premier League games.

They can already count Matthew Lewis, Russell Crowe, Chris Moyles, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Josh Warrington among their most famous supporters. It’s a growing list, with Mel B also shouting out Leeds in recent months.

Best-known for his role in The Office as Chris Finch, Ralph Ineson’s iconic voice is widely recognised from television, movies, and various adverts.

Ineson, like Coster-Waldau, appeared on Game of Thrones, but is himself Leeds born and bred. He has also appeared in the Star Wars and Harry Potter franchises, but is now plunging into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He will play Galactus in the upcoming Fantastic Four film, which will be aired in the UK in a few weeks’ time. He is starring alongside the likes of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, and Julia Garner.

Now doing their press tour, he was seen performing a Leeds salute proudly, as he revealed on his Twitter/X account. He said: “Casually slipping in the Leeds salute on stage last night ✊”

Ineson is a well-known supporter of the club, having also provided voiceover for Leeds in various ways in the past, too. He has been actively involved in their social media campaigns before.

As shown above, Ineson has been asked to film various pieces of content by Leeds, which he has been more than happy to partake in.

Paraag Marathe’s Elland Road masterplan will bring more fans in

A 53,000 Elland Road expansion is in the works, eclipsing the current 37,792. Although there have been previous ‘concerns’ raised about Leeds’ expansion, and this might develop into a major issue.

Leeds are finalising Elland Road plans to deal with the enormous demand due to the feel-good factor being back at Leeds, Premier League football has returned and the club are in good hands with Paraag Marathe and the 49ers.

Leeds say 26,000 supporters are currently on the season ticket waiting list, a huge amount. It means an increase in capacity from just below 38,000 fans to 53,000 fans should mean Leeds will still be sold out.

It’s all a part of Marathe’s grand plan for Leeds, and the 49ers plan to use some cash on reshaping Elland Road. That doesn’t just mean significantly expanding Elland Road’s capacity, either.

It also entails redeveloping aspects of the stadium and surrounding areas to improve the matchday experience for any and all Leeds fans.
