Considering that Leeds United are one of the biggest and most historic clubs in all of English football, it isn’t a surprise that they can count a lot of famous faces among their fanbase.
They are now back in the Premier League, having been in the Championship for the last two seasons. They will look to consolidate their place under the management of three-time winner of the Championship, Daniel Farke.
That achievement alone should bring more fans to the club, with the spotlight on Leeds United more in English football’s top tier against elite clubs competing in Europe.
That said, they can already count Matthew Lewis, Russell Crowe, Chris Moyles, and Josh Warrington among their most famous supporters. However, Mel B of the Spice Girls is also Leeds born and bred and proud of her team’s achievement.

As posted by @LUFCArchive on Twitter/X, Mel B shouted out Leeds during her interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
On the show he said: “It’s a Leeds rap.
“And Leeds are winning right now! Leeds United! Leeds Leeds!
“Nope? No Leeds fans? Well, we’re doing great.
“We’re doing very good, by the way.
“We’re at the top of the league and then we’re going to go up to the other bit — a division? Whatever.”
She’s not the only famous face connected with Leeds to shout out the club’s promotion to the Premier League, with Luke Ayling predicting Leeds to do well when spotted at the races this week.
Elland Road expansion is needed to continue growing Leeds United’s support
Leeds have had some incredibly successful periods in their history, especially during the 1960s and 70s, which is what the club will eventually want to get back to at some stage.
The Whites have enjoyed great success during that period, as well as winning the last Division One title in 1992. Their achievements were also evident during the late 90s and early 2000s when they were regularly qualifying for Europe.
Those periods may have been paramount in attracting new fans to the club, despite the club being outside the top flight for 16 years from 2004 until 2020. The size and scale of the club is evident, but so is the potential to be so much more.
Elland Road is always packed to the rafters with the Whites’ passionate supporters, which is why news of Leeds expanding their home ground is so promising; it could help Leeds get back to where they belong.
