Daniel Farke could be in line for a bit of a defensive crisis on Saturday afternoon when Leeds United take on Cardiff City in Wales, with a couple of centre-backs deemed as doubts.
Max Wober continues his path back to fitness after Austrian media said Wober was suffering from “knee problems” while on international duty. Farke said Joe Rodon has missed a couple of sessions this week.

The Wales star is back in training but it is unclear if he will be given the all-clear to start on Saturday when Leeds go up against Cardiff. But if Rodon and Wober are unavailable, then it could leave Leeds lacking.
It might mean that Farke has to turn to the Leeds academy to potentially provide some depth in the middle of the defence, and he is catering for that this week in training by calling up an 18-year-old player.
Farke calls up Reuben Lopata-White to first-team Leeds training
The youngster had only just earned his place in Scott Gardner’s U21 side towards the end of last season. The lofty teen only played four times for the second string four times after more than 30 U18 outings.
But this season, Lopata-White has already been a key player in Gardner’s side this season. He has played every minute of the U21’s four games this season, captaining the second string on two occasions.
Leeds Live say that there was a new face in first-team training this week ahead of Cardiff, and it is Lopata-White.
In the latest training video on LUTV, Lopata-White is spotted among the first team group, and while this weekend may be too soon for him to feature, Daniel Farke and his coaching staff are evidently taking a look at him, with a view to the future.
