Jon Newsome spotted what Jaidon Anthony did after Patrick Bamford scored his goal of the season contender for Leeds United in their win over Peterborough United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Unsurprisingly, Patrick Bamford stole many of the headlines as Leeds managed to book their spot in the fourth round of the competition.
Bamford scored an absolute screamer in the second-half, chesting down an Ethan Ampadu pass before firing a first-time volley into the far corner from outside the box.

Of course, it has been a frustrating start to the campaign for the one-time England international. He has only made one start in the Championship, and he has not found the back of the net when coming off the bench.
But Bamford could not have done more to prove a point to Daniel Farke. He provided the assist for Ampadu’s opening goal. And the same pair linked up to double the lead after the break.
Of course, the circumstances were vastly different for the second goal. And speaking on BBC Radio Leeds, Jon Newsome noticed how Jaidon Anthony reacted immediately after the strike.
“Wow, wow, wow. If you get an opportunity, watch that goal tonight,” he said. “I tell you what, Jaidon Anthony’s reaction spoke volumes. He jogged towards the Leeds fans with his hands on his head as if to say, ‘what have I just seen?'”
Striker looks determined to prove a point
Obviously, it is too soon to say whether we are watching Bamford get back to something like his best. The last couple of years have to have taken their toll on the 30-year-old. He still has plenty to prove, in terms of staying fit and making a consistent impact.
However, his two goals in two come at a time when neither Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe have been particularly prolific in front of goal.
So at the very least, Bamford is doing enough to stake a claim to keep his place for the time-being.
Anyone capable of producing a goal that good certainly has a big role to play as the promotion race heats up.
