Leeds United fans would no doubt welcome the prospect of Archie Gray returning to Elland Road.
The 19-year-old has had a mixed start to life with Tottenham since his £40m departure from Leeds.
After just one season with the first team, Gray made the ultimate impact and has left Whites fans hoping for his return.
Djed Spence thinks Gray has a big future, and any footballing fan would agree, especially as Gray ranks 13th in GOAL’s NXGN list.
He’s obviously a huge talent and explains why Gray left an everlasting impression on Leeds, and it seems as though his love for the club hasn’t stopped.

Archie Gray shows true Leeds United colours during Oxford United win
After his first season in the top flight, Gray will still be learning his trade.
Leeds are to thank for the talent as Thorp Arch has continued to produce exciting prospects over the years.
It’s clear Gray has been the best of recent times, as a 17-year-old breaking onto the scene is extremely rare, and being a fan of the Whites, he knows what it means to play for the club, as Gray idolised Luciano Becchio.
The Spurs midfielder will be focusing on Spurs’ fortunes in the Europa League, but it’s clear Gray has still got time for his beloved Leeds.
Despite making sure his appearance was hidden in the Leeds away end during their 1-0 win over Oxford United, a keen-eyed fan spotted the former Leeds star wearing a beanie, as he still remains a big fan of Daniel Farke’s side.
Whether Leeds can strike loan deal for Gray in the summer
It’s unknown whether Gray can make the jump back to Yorkshire.
This would be a dream scenario for any Leeds fan, and Gray certainly wouldn’t be against it as the Whites are on the verge of Premier League promotion.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 43 | 26 | 13 | 4 | 83 | 29 | 54 | 91 | |
| 2 | 43 | 25 | 16 | 2 | 59 | 14 | 45 | 91 | |
| 3 | 43 | 27 | 7 | 9 | 59 | 33 | 26 | 86 |
Although it hasn’t been mooted that Gray could make a return to Leeds this window, it’s clear Gray still has great admiration for Farke, which could help pave a loan deal.
Former Leeds player Lee Sharpe said back in November that Gray’s return would ‘suit everyone’ (Yorkshire Evening Post), as the youngster may seek more game time next season.
Gray’s 40 appearances this season suggest otherwise, but with Spurs’ squad coming back to full strength, it’s already being seen that the youngster’s major role is dropping in importance.
Farke should keep a close eye on this, and judging by Gray appearing at Leeds’ games, he would certainly be keen.
