Leeds United will have had a full week to stew on a disappointing defeat to Blackburn Rovers by the time they are next in action against Derby County.
Leeds suffered their third loss of the season at Ewood Park as Todd Cantwell’s first-half penalty was enough to earn the home side a 1-0 victory.
Unfortunately for Leeds it was a very familiar tale of many away matches on the road under Daniel Farke, where they struggle to break down a side after going 1-0 down.
Joe Rodon said as such after the match, though his comments have since been ridiculed across social media by fans of Leeds and other clubs.
However, Leeds will be back at Elland Road for the fixture against Derby, with their form at home night and day to what it is away.

Hinchcliffe shares early Leeds vs Derby prediction
Hinchcliffe was speaking on Sky Sports earlier on Tuesday (3 December) about Leeds’ defeat to Blackburn, and thinks the manner of it will have left them ‘absolutely furious’.
That said, Leeds losing at Ewood Park actually makes Hinchcliffe even more fearful for Derby when they make the trip to West Yorkshire.
Hinchcliffe says Leeds have reacted extremely well to setbacks over the course of the season under Farke, winning back-to-back games after the loss to Burnley, and then three in a row after the defeat at Millwall.
He said: “They’ll be absolutely furious at losing that game. But look at what they’ve done previously this season when they’ve lost. They lost to Burnley, they won back-to-back games. They lost to Millwall, won their next three games on the spin.
“So Derby go to Elland Road on Saturday, and for Derby you fear because the good sides respond when things don’t go well. Leeds have responded twice already this season with wins after defeats.
“It riles them up. Again, they’re back at home, they’re back at Elland Road which is such a tough place to go anyway. They’ve been really strong there, so I’m expecting a strong reaction, I’m expecting them to beat Derby on Saturday.”

Leeds’ record after every Championship defeat under Farke
| Defeat | Next game |
| Birmingham 1-0 Leeds | Leeds 1-1 West Brom |
| Southampton 3-1 Leeds | Leeds 1-0 QPR |
| Stoke 1-0 Leeds | Leeds 4-1 Huddersfield |
| Sunderland 1-0 Leeds | Leeds 1-1 Coventry |
| PNE 2-1 Leeds | West Brom 1-0 Leeds |
| West Brom 1-0 Leeds | Leeds 3-0 Birmingham |
| Coventry 2-1 Leeds | Leeds 0-0 Sunderland |
| Leeds 0-1 Blackburn | Middlesbrough 3-4 Leeds |
| QPR 4-0 Leeds | Leeds 1-2 Southampton |
| Leeds 1-2 Southampton | Norwich 0-0 Leeds (play-offs) |
| Leeds 0-1 Burnley | Cardiff 0-2 Leeds |
| Millwall 1-0 Leeds | Leeds 2-0 QPR |
| Blackburn 1-0 Leeds | Leeds ?-? Derby |
As shown by the table, Hinchcliffe is fairly accurate in suggesting Leeds are good at responding to defeats under Farke.
Only twice have they ever suffered back-to-back losses in the league since Farke took charge, and both of those were last season.
However, only six wins from 12 is also a statistic that can be improved and hopefully Saturday’s game against Derby can do so.
