Leeds United will have nothing to complain about in their 2-0 defeat to Millwall, but Alex Neil might, even after winning.
It was a dismal afternoon at Elland Road for Daniel Farke as Leeds’ FA Cup journey came to an abrupt end.
Leeds lost 2-0 to Millwall in a game which didn’t see much excitement at all, as Femi Azeez scored a brace to shock the Whites.
Pascal Struijk did miss a penalty, which summed up Leeds’ afternoon, but despite winning, Lions boss Neil wasn’t too happy with the referee.
Leeds fans know all about referee Gavin Ward, and now Neil does too.

Many Leeds players didn’t turn up as Aidy White said Wilfried Gnonto was poor, with the Italian losing the ball 16 times.
It wasn’t just the players who were poor, as Ward made some dodgy decisions, one being a questionable penalty that was awarded to Struijk.
Gnonto was supposedly fouled in the box in a controversial decision that Neil wasn’t happy with.
Speaking in the post-match press conference, Neil said: “Disappointed with the penalty, thought it was very soft.
“I thought the penalty decision was disappointing, wasn’t a penalty.”

Neil on whether Josuha Guilavogui should’ve been sent off for Leeds
That wasn’t the only controversial decision, as Josuha Guilavogui was lucky to escape a red card after a foul on Casper De Norre.
Despite even some Leeds fans thinking it deserved a sending-off, Neil disagreed after the game.
“Red card for Guilavogui? I’m not in the habit of trying to get people sent off. It’s a contact sport, as long as you don’t go over the limit,” Neil said.
If the decisions cost the Millwall boss, no doubt he would have been raging at both decisions, as despite Leeds losing 2-0, it could’ve ended a lot worse for the Whites.
