TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil says he has been “told” (Thursday, 9AM) that West Ham striker Michail Antonio is leaving the Hammers this summer – amid reports Leeds, Celtic and Wolves are interested.

Antonio, 33, has entered the final year of his contract at West Ham. He has spent the last eight years at West Ham, clocking up 275 games – scoring 76 and laying on another 43 assists in claret and blue.

But it might be that the Jamaica star is keen to have a change, as he enters the final years of his career. Football Transfers say Antonio is of interest to Celtic and Leeds. Rudy Galetti says Wolves want Antonio.

He has interest abroad, too. TMW say a Saudi Arabian club have tabled a two-year deal, worth £90k a week. But it was unclear if Antonio would leave the Hammers, with Gianluca Scamacca already going.

The Italian has returned to his home nation, with Atalanta. West Ham have Danny Ings but probably need another striker, even before selling Antonio. But Brazil claims he has been told that Antonio is off.

“I’m told he’s off. He’s off. I’m told someone has helped pack him and he’s on his way,” Brazil said on Thursday morning, while presenting TalkSPORT alongside Gabby Agbonlahor and Thomas Skinner.

Brazil told Antonio leaving West Ham amid Leeds, Celtic reports

Even if Antonio is leaving West Ham, the chances of him moving to Leeds is unlikely. Premier League side Wolves, Champions League club Celtic or huge money in Saudi Arabia is surely above Leeds.

What is surprising is that Antonio wants to leave West Ham, given he remains first choice. Maybe, he just fancies a change and feels this is the perfect time to earn himself a big, final contract in his career.
