Leeds United need a big performance to secure an away win over Swansea City tonight and make it seven league wins in a row – and Jaidon Anthony might prove to be Daniel Farke’s secret weapon.
After another comprehensive win on Saturday, Leeds are in a good place. Six consecutive League wins, as well as progressing past Plymouth in the FA Cup after a replay. Leeds are unbeaten in eight, in 2024.
The Whites will be favourites to pick up three points when they go to Wales to take on Liam Williams’ side. But, it is perhaps fair to say that Swansea are a much better side than their 16th position suggests.
Leeds had to come from behind to win against Swansea at Elland Road and the Swans will certainly be in buoyant mood after a win away over Hull City on the weekend. Leeds will need to be at their very best.
If they aren’t, then Farke may have to turn to the bench. Anthony is unlikely to start. Cree Summerville is in stunning form after two goals on Saturday – while Dan James is back, to rival Willy Gnonto for a start.

Jaidon Anthony can be secret Leeds weapon on Tuesday night
Anthony will be on the bench again – but, if we need a goal, then the £25k-a-week Bournemouth man is the man to turn to. That is, if his history against Swansea is anything to go by – playing them four times.
He has a stunning record against the Swans. 10 points from a possible 12, and four goal involvements in those four games. Two goals, two assists – including a brace in a 4-0 Bournemouth win during 2021-22.
Anthony won’t start, but if Farke needs a goal in the last 30 minutes, then Anthony’s record against the Swans is a sign that he is more than capable of being our secret weapon on Tuesday night.
