Leeds United defender Max Wober has been spotted arriving at Borussia Monchengladbach’s stadium ahead of his loan move.
That is according to Rheinische Post, who report the 25-year-old was seen at the German club’s headquarters as he completes the final details of his proposed transfer.
It was confirmed on Thursday that an agreement had been struck between the two sides for a season-long-loan deal, with Monchengladbach paying a loan fee of around £430,000.
Despite reports there could be a permanent option in 12 months’ time, Wober will instead be joining on a straight loan, which could see him return to Elland Road.
His exit comes as a bitter blow for Leeds after he had reportedly told the club he wanted to stick around and fight for promotion earlier in the summer.

Wober’s exit is expected to be confirmed on Monday once the final details of the transfer are completed over the weekend.
He will become the sixth player to leave Leeds on loan following relegation with Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca and Rasmus Kristsensen all having done so.
Leeds will now be able to sanction just one more international loan for players over the age of 21, due to FIFA regulations.
It is difficult to see any of them being welcomed back in West Yorkshire, especially if Leeds are promoted, once their loans are over.
Wober especially may find it tough given the nature of his exit given it had looked like he would be staying earlier in the window.
