Leeds United returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion on Saturday as they defeated Huddersfield Town 4-1 at Elland Road.
Looking to bounce back from the disappointing defeat at Stoke City in midweek, Leeds raced out of the blocks to take a 4-0 lead into half-time, blowing their West Yorkshire rivals away.
The likes of Crysencio Summerville and Dan James will both take the plaudits after netting two goals apiece, but once again there was one man who really went under the radar.
Much of Leeds’ control in the game came from their midfield two of Ethan Ampadu and Glen Kamara, both of whom had almost 250 touches between them in the game.
Ampadu is widely considered as Leeds’ signing of the summer but once again Kamara’s display went under the radar, in what was his fifth start since a £5.5 million move from Rangers.
Kamara should now be undroppable after latest Leeds display
Perhaps surprisingly, Kamara was only an unused substitute in the defeat at Stoke but his return to the side alongside Summerville and James really made a difference.
Farke claimed Kamara was in need of a rest after his international exploits and there is no doubt he looked refreshed on his return to the side.
Kamara completed 104 of his 108 attempted passes, with his quality in possession a huge asset to Farke’s side at this level.

Leeds have plenty of competition and depth in central midfield this season but Kamara’s recent performances should make him undroppable at this moment in time.
Neither Archie Gray nor Ilia Gruev were used at all against Huddersfield and they will now face a fight to get back into that engine room moving forward.
Kamara is really looking like yet another inspired summer signing for Leeds and with his match sharpness now back at 100%, his quality is clear to see.
