Leeds United fans in agreement on Anton Stach after Milan friendly, ‘From what I’ve seen so far’

Leeds United played their final pre-season friendly on Saturday, against Serie A giants Milan in Dublin.

So far this summer, Daniel Farke’s side have looked steady in their travels with Leeds United drawing against Villarreal previously, as well as picking up some wins in Germany.

And the game against Milan ended 1-1 in another positive sign ahead of the new season, with Farke looking as though he’s found something close to his strongest XI ahead of the Premier League opener.

Last season, Leeds United won the Championship title in blistering fashion but many will back them to struggle next time round.

But already, Leeds United have been tipped to beat the drop ahead of Burnley and Sunderland, and results like the one on Saturday will certainly help them to do that next season.

Anton Stach shines for Leeds United vs Milan

Anton Stach looks like he could be a new fan favourite at Elland Road. Leeds United signed Stach from Hoffenheim last month in a deal that could cost up to £20m, which would make him the most expensive summer signing at Leeds United so far. But for the 49ers, it’s looking like money well spent.

Stach started in a midfield three of Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka, and straight away it was clear to see the towering German has quality and efficiency in the middle of the park, which the Leeds United faithful have already picked up on.

Stach even went on to score the equalising goal with a stunning curling effort, giving a big hint to Leeds fans that he could be a key source of goals next season.

Leeds United fans rave about Anton Stach

Posting on social media, Leeds United fans were blown away by Stach’s ability and overall calmness in midfield. One Leeds United fan posted: “This Anton Stach character looks rock solid”, as another posted: “Anton Stach is a serious player.”

There were more comments too, as Leeds United fans posted comments such as: “Anton Stach is unreal, such a good footballer”, and also “Stach is a baller”.

This Leeds United fan added: “He’s brilliant Stach from what I’ve seen so far, such an intelligent footballer.” Whilst this Leeds United supporter added: “Anton Stach – midfield general.”

Leeds United’s opening day game against Everton takes place on Monday August 18th at Elland Road, with kick off at 8pm.
