Rasmus Kristensen could seal a move away from Leeds United as early as today.
Kristensen is said to have flown to Germany last night ahead of undergoing a medical at Eintracht Frankfurt this morning.
For the second successive season, Kristensen will be leaving Elland Road on a season-long-loan, having spent the 2023/24 campaign at AS Roma, where he endured a tough time.
An option-to-buy of £15 million has reportedly been agreed between the two clubs, but that already feels like a figure that won’t be paid unless his fortunes drastically change.
Kristensen is set to become Leeds‘ 14th official exit of the summer, though certainly isn’t going to be the last based on the ongoing speculation.

Graeme Bailey shares new update on Max Wober at Leeds
There had been six weeks of uncertainty surrounding the future of Kristensen ever since Brenden Aaronson’s decision to rebuff loan approaches elsewhere and stay.
Daniel Farke is said to have been giving consideration to the prospect of bringing him back, but Kristensen’s desire to move, and the swiftness of negotiations with Frankfurt, has taken the decision out of his hands.
That now means Max Wober is the only one of last summer’s loan army still with his immediate future up in the air.
Wober had been in the same boat as Kristensen but has been unable to find a move as of yet, despite enjoying a considerably better season at Borussia Monchengladbach, who can’t afford to buy him permanently.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey spoke exclusively to LeedsUnited.News about Wober’s future, and says while it is one they are still ‘assessing’, he could end up following Kristensen back to Germany.
He said: “It [Wober] is one they are assessing, there is interest in the pair of them from Germany from what I am hearing. There’s a reasonable chance that both go, I thought Kristensen might stay but I don’t think he particularly wants to play second tier which is always an issue with these guys coming back. There’s a good chance both go.”
Leeds receive green light for Kristensen replacement
Kristensen’s exit leaves Leeds even lighter than they already were at right-back, having also lost Connor Roberts, Archie Gray and Jamie Shackleton.
Jayden Bogle has been earmarked as the player Farke wants to strengthen that position, with Leeds seeing two offers knocked back so far.
While negotiations are seemingly ongoing with Sheffield United over a deal, it would appear they have received the green light from the player himself.
Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that Bogle is keen on a move to Elland Road and believes it will be a deal that gets done in due course.
