Leeds United are set to lose another of their academy graduates from last season’s first team squad.
The Whites sealed the ‘heartbreaking’ sale of Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week and it appears as though another is set to follow.
Charlie Cresswell had expected to tie up an exit by now after flying to France to put the finishing touches on a £3.8 million move to Toulouse.
However, Cresswell opted against making the move at the 11th hour and was back at Thorp Arch for day one of pre-season testing on Tuesday. He is still likely to leave.
It is decision time for a lot of players’ futures with the two major international tournaments close to coming to an end, particularly those who are out of contract.

Major update provided on Jamie Shackleton’s Leeds future
Leeds are still awaiting on all of Liam Cooper, Jamie Shackleton and Cody Drameh to officially make their decisions on the contract offers on the table.
Reports emerged yesterday that Cooper is on the verge of making his, by turning the down the offer of an 11th season at Elland Road due to only being handed a one-year extension.
There has been no word on Drameh as of yet, though the expectation over the last few weeks is that he will not be signing it.
And according to journalist Alan Nixon, Shackleton has now also made his choice on the offer made by Leeds, instead opting to sign for Sheffield United.
Shackleton has been rumoured to be close to an agreement with the Blades for around a week now and it appears as though Chris Wilder has got his man after ‘weeks of talks’.
Following relegation from the Premier League, transfer business has been held up at Bramall Lane due to ongoing takeover talks. However, a deal for Shackleton is now all but done.

Shackleton exit best for all parties
Daniel Farke was actually keen to keep Shackleton at Leeds this season after an impressive string of performances during the beginning of his tenure, but he is now at the point where he simply has to go and play.
His last league start at Leeds came all the way back in October during a 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town, which isn’t enough for some at his stage of his career.
He struggled massively with injuries during the second half of the campaign and that could well be because of how little match action he was seeing.
Despite both of those things, though, he never kicked up a fuss and always worked hard whenever he got his opportunity. Hopefully the Blades can be the place he really gets his career kick started.
