Noah Okafor is attracting transfer interest ahead of the summer after an impressive debut season at Leeds United.
The Swiss international had a slow start to his time with the Whites after joining from AC Milan for £18million, but has since become one of the standout performers, having helped Daniel Farke’s side secure their Premier League status for another season.
With six goals and an assist in seven Premier League games since February, Okafor’s performances have seen him earn a call-up to Switzerland’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
However, they are not the only ones to take note of the attacker’s displays, and questions are now being asked about whether Elland Road will be his home beyond this summer.
PROVE ME WRONG: Noah Okafor is Leeds’ most-effective player right now.
Gerrard thinks so.
Noah Okafor leaves future in agency’s hands
Okafor is attracting interest from clubs in England and Germany, according to Bild’s Stammplatz podcast.
In conversation with the Leeds United man, the host said that they have heard “one or two clubs” in England and Germany have been impressed by his performances.
While Okafor was effusive in his praise for the Yorkshire-based club, describing himself as “incredibly happy”, the 25-year-old notably stopped short of committing his long-term future to Elland Road.

Instead, he handed responsibility for any potential transfer discussions to his representatives, You First.
He said: “I’m incredibly happy in Leeds and very grateful for everything they’ve made possible for me there. Yes, I’m a Leeds player, and everything that comes or will come in the future is my agency’s responsibility. We’ll see what happens.”

What it means for Leeds United
For a club that have just survived in the Premier League, losing a player of Okafor’s quality this summer would be a significant blow.
The interest from Germany adds an intriguing dimension, with Bild being the source, the clubs in question are likely Bundesliga sides with the financial muscle to make a serious offer.
Leeds United will be hoping their own ambition and Okafor’s stated happiness at the club are enough to keep him, but on the evidence of his own words, nothing is guaranteed.
Nevertheless, the Whites are gearing up for an exciting summer, with the Elland Road expansion plans also underway.
