Leeds United have made an official announcement about Noah Okafor ahead of the summer.
There were major doubts about Okafor when the Whites forked out £18million to sign him from AC Milan last summer, with his record of just two league goals in the first half of the season doing little to ease those concerns.
However, having bagged six goals and an assist in the Premier League since February, the 25-year-old appears to have found his footing at Leeds United, thus justifying his price tag.

Leeds United make announcement of Noah Okafor making Switzerland’s FIFA World Cup squad
As Okafor ends the season on a strong note, Leeds United announced on Wednesday that the attacker has been called up to Switzerland’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The former Red Bull Salzburg star has 24 caps for the Swiss national team and will be playing in his second World Cup, having featured thrice in the last edition in Qatar.
Switzerland have been drawn into Group B of this year’s World Cup, alongside Qatar, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and joint hosts Canada.
Managed by Murat Yakin, the Swiss roster also includes the likes of Breel Embolo, Ruben Vargas, and Dan Ndoye, meaning Okafor will face stiff competition for places.
Nevertheless, the Leeds United man will be looking to make a strong impression at the tournament in North America.

Okafor’s growing influence at Elland Road
Okafor’s breakout performance as a Leeds United player notably came in the 2-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford last month.
The ex-Milan star scored both of the Whites’ goals that day, thus bagging the Performance of the Year award at the club’s annual awards night on Tuesday.
Okafor’s contract at the Yorkshire-based club runs until 2029, meaning Daniel Farke might have a serious player on his hands.
If he continues his fine form, it would not be a surprise if the Elland Road outfit earned a hefty profit on his sale in a year or two.
