The pressure could not be higher on Leeds United to deliver some signings in the next few days.
With Daniel Farke still wanting four new additions, Leeds have just 10 days of the window left to get them over the line, or face a raft of criticism from the supporters.
Sections of the Leeds fanbase have already show signs of turning after the away end was both seen and heard showing their discontent at the style of play in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at West Bromwich Albion.
Ultimately, though, that frustration is brewing as a result of the lack of activity from the club’s board, as Leeds find themselves in the exact same situation as 12 months ago, something Paraag Marathe promised would not happen.
Leeds made five signings in the last week of the summer window last year, and a similar number will be needed again. However, given who has been sold, the quality will have to be much higher.

Anthony and Ayling react to Georginio Rutter exit
The hope was after such a drab showing at West Brom that the foot would be on the accelerator ahead of Friday’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday regarding signings.
However, the last two days have once again come up fruitless, with not even a single concrete link to a potential new incoming being imminent.
The name of Jack Clarke has come up repeatedly in recent days, but everyone knows how difficult that deal will be due to cost and Premier League interest.
In fact, the only real piece of transfer news that has come up in the last two days is the long overdue announcement of Georginio Rutter’s £40 million move to Brighton late last night.
While Leeds suggested in their official statement Rutter was both ‘persistent and adamant’ in his desire to leave, the Frenchman posted a long message on Instagram to express his gratitude to the fans, staff and players.
Interestingly, at the time of writing, not one of his current teammates have responded in the comments. That is a complete contrast to Crysencio Summerville, who received plenty.
As well as Archie Gray, Luke Ayling and Jaidon Anthony were among those to wish him well under his post.

What Leeds’ official statement said on Rutter exit
Following Brighton’s decision to activate the release clause in Rutter’s deal, Leeds fought hard to try and convince him to stay.
Unfortunately those efforts came to nothing and that is certainly reflected in what Leeds wrote in their official statement, as they made it clear how keen Rutter was to leave.
Perhaps if Leeds had acted earlier in the summer when Brighton saw an opening offer rejected at the start of July, then this situation would not have arised.
The statement said: “Every effort was made to keep Georginio at Elland Road despite his exit clause being activated, but he was persistent and adamant in his desire to leave and we respect his decision.’
