Manor Solomon has become a revelation at Leeds United over the last few weeks in particular, with the 25-year-old having been in prolific form for the Whites.
Leeds United brought in Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer. He had a bit of a slower start at Elland Road, but since the turn of the year, Solomon has been in blistering form.
The Spurs loan man has scored four goals since the turn of the year. He’s also grabbed himself five assists, with his Championship tally now standing at seven goals and eight assists in 25 games so far.
And already, there’s talk of a possible permanent swoop for Solomon during the summer transfer window. Recently, it was revealed that Spurs are open to offers for Solomon, who they signed on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023.
And now, whether or not Leeds United really want to sign the Israeli international has been revealed. Inevitably, they do.

Leeds United keen on permanent deal for Spurs’ Manor Solomon, but no option to buy
In very unsurprising news, TeamTalk has revealed that Leeds United ‘do plan to open talks with Tottenham’ regarding a permanent deal for winger Solomon during the summer transfer window. However, the deal may not be so straightforward.
The same report goes on to revealed that Leeds United do not have the option to buy Solomon from Spurs. And given the fact that Tottenham signed him on a free transfer, his current transfer value remains to be seen.
But TeamTalk say that Leeds United are ‘very interested in signing Solomon on a permanent deal’ and so it looks like Daniel Farke and the 49ers will do all they can to make the deal happen in the summer transfer window.

Does Manor Solomon want to stay at Leeds United?
Of course, Leeds would need to get to the Premier League before standing any realistic chance of signing Solomon. Right now, they’re on track, sitting in 1st place of the Championship table after their 4-0 win at Watford last time out.
And Solomon has hinted that he’s open to staying at Leeds beyond this season. Speaking earlier in the year, he explained: “In my mind, I want to get back to the Premier League where I belong. That is my goal. I understood that the best way to get back to myself and get back to the Premier League is to go to Leeds.”
A deal for the in form winger then seems to be in the interest of both Leeds and Solomon. But Leeds just need to negotiate with Spurs, come up with a price tag, and hope that no other team swoops in with a bigger and better offer.
