With the 2025 summer transfer window closing tonight at 7pm, Leeds United fans are keen to see what last-minute business Daniel Farke and his team can push across the line.

So far this summer, Leeds have conducted some shrewd business, bringing in the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer.

The Yorkshire side have also brought in Anton Stach from TSG Hoffenheim, Noah Okafor from AC Milan, and goalkeeper Lucas Perri from Lyon, to name a few.

With this window looking like a strong one, we take a look back to last summer’s business to find out which players are still at Elland Road, and what lasting impact they have had.

Joe Rodon

Joe Rodon signed a permanent deal with the club in July 2024 after an impressive loan spell during the 2023/24 season.

After a standout year where he became a fan favourite and a key part of the defence that helped Leeds win the Championship and secure promotion, the club made their move for him from Tottenham Hotspur permanent on July 2, 2024. The transfer fee was a reported £10 million.

Since his permanent move, Rodon has continued to be a mainstay in the team. He has been a constant presence in the backline, forming a dominant partnership with fellow Welsh international Ethan Ampadu.

The 27-year-old defender brings top-level experience, composure, and leadership to the team, and he has a long-term contract at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2028.

Largie Ramazani

Leeds signed the Belgian attacker Largie Ramazani from UD Almería on August 22, 2024. The deal was reportedly worth around £10 million, with Ramazani signing a four-year contract. Ramazani is currently on a season-long loan at Valencia.

Largie Ramazani had a positive start to his time at Elland Road, scoring seven goals and contributing to the club’s promotion to the Premier League. However, he found starts difficult to come by, hence his loan to Valencia to help him gain more playing time.

This move will see him gain valuable experience in La Liga before returning to Elland Road at the end of the season.

Jayden Bogle

Leeds United signed Jayden Bogle from Sheffield United on July 20, 2024, for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of £5 million.

The deal saw the right-back commit his future to Elland Road on a four-year contract, which runs until the summer of 2028.

Jayden Bogle had an immediate impact on the team, helping them win the EFL Championship title and secure promotion back to the Premier League.

He enjoyed a highly successful campaign in 2024/25, scoring six goals and providing four assists, which led to him being voted into both the EFL and PFA Championship Teams of the Season. He has been a consistent starter and a key attacking threat from the defensive line since joining the club.

Ao Tanaka

Ao Tanaka signed permanently from Fortuna Düsseldorf on August 30, 2024, in a deal reported to be worth around £3.4 million. He signed a four-year contract with the club, running until the summer of 2028.

Tanaka had an outstanding debut season with Leeds, quickly establishing himself as a vital part of the midfield.

He played a crucial role in the club’s promotion back to the Premier League, with his performances earning him the prestigious Players’ Player of the Year award for the 2024/25 campaign. Although Tanaka is currently injured, he has been a key figure at the start of Leeds’ Premier League campaign.

Isaac Schmidt

Isaac Schmidt is spending the 2025/26 season on loan at Bundesliga side Werder Bremen from Leeds United. Leeds signed the versatile Swiss defender on August 30, 2024, from St. Gallen for a reported fee of £2.5 million.

He was a late addition to the squad during the 2024 summer transfer window, signing a four-year contract. During the 2024/25 season, Schmidt was a regular member of the squad that won the Championship and secured promotion.

However, he made only 14 appearances across all competitions and was not a regular starter. In search of more game time, Schmidt was sent on loan to Werder Bremen on August 28, 2025, with an option for the German club to make the deal permanent.
