Leeds United transfer rumours and latest news, including updates on James McAtee, Martin Baturina and Vladyslav Vanat.
There are just a little under two weeks until the summer transfer window will finally open wide – for an initial nine days at least – and Leeds United can finally start making signings.
Daniel Farke wants to drastically improve his squad ahead of the return to the Premier League as he bids to fare better in the top flight than he ever managed with Norwich City.
It appears Leeds will have a lot to spend this summer and here is the latest on some potential signings.

Pep Guardiola’s ‘I quit’ claim could lead to James McAtee departure

James McAtee is attracting interest from a lot of clubs ahead of the transfer window and Leeds are said to be chief among them.
McAtee is expected to leave Manchester City this summer, with only a year remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking after his side’s win over Bournemouth on Wednesday, Pep Guardiola increased the likelihood of McAtee’s departure by claiming he would ‘quit’ his job if his squad wasn’t made smaller next season.
He told BBC Sport: “I said to the club I don’t want that [a bigger squad]. I don’t want to leave five or six players in the freezer.
“I don’t want that. I will quit. Make a shorter squad, I will stay. It’s impossible for my soul to [tell] my players in the tribune [stands] that they cannot play.”
Leeds have been linked with McAtee for years, from initial loan deals to now a potential permanent transfer with a £35m price tag mooted.
Vladyslav Vanat release clause revealed

As well as a playmaker to provide competition for Brenden Aaronson, Leeds are looking for a striker this summer over concerns about Joel Piroe’s ruthlessness.
One such striker is Dynamo Kyiv’s Vladyslav Vanat, who has outscored and assisted more than Piroe this season with 21 strikes and eight assists.
Despite his great form in Ukraine, Vanat is reportedly available for a steal as Football24 reports that he has a release clause of just £17m.
Martin Baturina chase could be back alive for Leeds United

Leeds have been keen on Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Martin Baturina for at least a year after seeing a deadline day offer rebuffed by the Croatian himself a year ago.
But Leeds were a Championship club then and are in a much better position to capture his signature now they’re back in the Premier League. They have now been given the perfect reason to revive their interest.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that: “Baturina’s expected to leave Dinamo Zagreb this summer for potential transfer fee around €20/25m.
“English and Italian clubs in addition to Eintracht Frankfurt have already made contact over potential move.”
It’s not clear if Leeds are one of the English clubs who have made their interest known but it’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
