Leeds United could break the bank on a few players this summer. Daniel Farke certainly has some marquee signings in the crosshairs.
Leeds United have been promoted to the Premier League and with it will come a flurry of summer signings at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke knows his side aren’t at Premier League standard yet. But armed with a huge summer transfer kitty he could steadily build a Premier League side over the summer months.
And one name who could join and add definite quality to the ranks is James McAtee at Man City. It’s recently been reported that Leeds United are interested in signing McAtee this summer.

Leeds United fans react to James McAtee transfer rumours
“All day everyday very good player,” said one Leeds United fan when asked if they’d like to see McAtee sign from Man City this summer.
“Would be quality,” said another. Meanwhile this Leeds United fan posted: “Statement signing that’s needed.”
Other comments read: “James McAtee would be sooo good”, “Sounds too good to be true”, and one supporter even wrote of the 22-year-old: “Upgrade on [Brenden] Aaronson for sure.”
Meanwhile this Leeds United fan said: “McAtee would be unreal but a tad unrealistic in my opinion as he’s likely to have many clubs after him.”
A similar comment read: “Leeds one of a number of clubs interested in signing Manchester City’s James McAtee, would be some signing if we can make it happen.”

Leeds United given green light to sign James McAtee from Man City
This isn’t the first time that Leeds have shown an interest in the Salford-born midfielder. Leeds United tried to sign McAtee in January this year.
But he remained at the Etihad where he sees his contract expire in a year’s time meaning that he looks set to be sold on by Pep Guardiola this summer, with no signs of becoming a regular starter for the club.
Recent reports have revealed that Man City will listen to offers for McAtee this summer with a £25million price tag on his head.
