Leeds United are pushing to do a late deal for Harry Wilson from Fulham before Monday’s deadline, and two obstacles Leeds need to fall into place, are close to being confirmed.
It emerged on Monday afternoon that after deadline-day links with Emi Buendia and Manor Solomon, that Leeds were looking at Fulham’s Harry Wilson. Initially, a loan bid from Leeds was rejected for Wilson.
But Leeds have remained in talks and there is a confidence that a deal can be done for the Wales star, who is a National teammate of Ethan Ampadu, Dan James, Joe Rodon and goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
It has been reported that Fulham will only sanction Wilson’s exit if Fulham sign two or three attacking options before the deadline. Fulham are in talks for Kevin, Samuel Chukwueze, and Tyrique George.

Two massive steps towards Leeds signing Harry Wilson
Reports said Fulham want two or three of the above list in order to process a Wilson exit, with Fulham preferring a permanent sale of the Wales star. Well, it appears they are about to sign on the dotted line.
Fabrizio Romano delivered the first update before 6pm, posting on X in an exclusive that Fulham have done a deal for Brazilian talent Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk. The first domino Leeds needed for Wilson.
Then, a few minutes later, Romano confirmed that Fulham have also agreed a deal for Nigeria attacker Chukwueze. The latter is set to join on a loan-to-buy deal, while Kevin is joining for a fee north of £35m.
Leeds will now be hoping to hear from Fulham very soon
It all depends on Fulham, now. The report stated that Fulham wanted two or three dominoes to fall into place. Two have, but Fulham may continue to delay a move for Wilson as they wait for George to sign.

But Kevin and Chukwueze are in and if Wilson was unsure about his Fulham future to begin with, he will now. Two players brought in that instantly go above the former Liverpool man in the pecking order.
Leeds will be hoping to receive some good news from Fulham and be able to agree a fee for Wilson before the deadline strikes, with less than an hour until it all ends. Daniel Farke will be waiting, nervously.
