A summer of change is expected at Leeds United with promotion to the Premier League on the horizon, as Daniel Farke looks to build a side capable of avoiding relegation in the top tier.
A few weeks ago, Farke said he was “100% convinced” Leeds would be in the Premier League next season. His comments at the time were seen as a bit perplexing, given Leeds were in the middle of a bad run.
But that run of one win in six has come to an end, with Farke’s side since winning three games on the trot. It has taken The Whites back to the Championship summit with only three league matches left to play.
Leeds take on Stoke at Elland Road on Monday, and they have to better Sheffield United’s result against second-placed Burnley to confirm their place in the top tier. It will see Leeds embark on a big summer.

The first player set to leave Leeds United is a defender
The 49ers want six new signings and Adam Pope expects Leeds to spend north of £100m. But with players coming in, plenty will leave and the first exit is now likely to be defender Kris Moore, from the U21 squad.
Moore has failed to break into the senior side make his professional debut, despite captaining the second string for some time and clocking up 80 appearances for the 21’s. His contract expires in the summer.
The Sun’s Alan Nixon reports on his Patreon channel that League Two side Crewe Alexandra want to sign centre-back Moore and Leeds are willing to let him leave in the coming weeks and months.

What Michael Skubala said about Kris Moore while at Leeds
Now manager at League One side Lincoln and impressing, Leeds fans will recall Skubala as the man that took charge of three games in between Jesse Marsch’s sacking and the appointment of Javi Gracia.
Prior to his caretaker role, Skubala was managing Leeds’ U21 side and as per The Square Ball, Skubala described Moore as the “most-consistent” player in his side after he had take on a leadership role.
Set to turn 22 later this year, Moore needs to leave Leeds in search of senior football given he is yet to make his professional debut and a transfer to League Two side Crewe would be a great move for him.
