With Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier leaving on free transfers, a new goalkeeper is the next priority, and reports indicate that the Whites are closing in on Man City and England stopper James Trafford.
A club-record fee is expected to change hands, a deal that is once again seen as a real coup for Daniel Farke’s side. It goes without saying Brandt could be Farke’s biggest coup as manager at Elland Road.
Now, Leeds have added Muharemovic’s teammate to the list
With a goalkeeper and possibly another attacking midfielder on the radar, Leeds are still expected to pursue cover at left-back, a midfielder and competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the final third.
According to Sky Germany reporter Dennis Bayer, Leeds have now added a striker to the shortlist. Stuttgart ace Ermedin Demirovic has emerged as a target for the Whites after two superb seasons.
The 44-time Bosnia star, a teammate of Muharemovic’s with Bosnia, has starred for Stuttgart over the last two seasons, scoring a total of 32 goals and laying on 11 assists. Leeds are in the race for the striker.
Bayer also reports that Stuttgart are willing to sell, with Juventus and Fenerbahce also interested: Sky Info: Demirovic Future open. Interest high: among others Juventus, Leeds United and Fenerbahce in the mix.
“Nothing concrete yet. Sebastien Hoeneß [Stuttgart head coach] is open to a sale. Bosse would prefer to keep him. Medo wants to stay at Stuttgart gladly,” Bayer reported, as Leeds start their search for a nine.

Demirovic is a top player, with a contract until the summer of 2028. The fact that free-spending Fener and Italian giants Juventus are interested proves just how good the Bosnia star is, but Leeds know all about it.

Last summer, Demirovic was strongly linked with a move to Elland Road. As a newly promoted club and the theme of promoted sides being relegated, Demirovic would have been almost an impossible buy.
But after establishing themselves in the Premier League somewhat with a 14th-placed finish and the ambition Leeds have already shown in the transfer window, they have a real chance of getting Demirovic.
