The list of players linked with Leeds United continues to grow ahead of the January transfer window and the latest possible signing is a Cameroon international currently playing in Ligue 1.
Graham Smyth expects Leeds to sign a new no.10 in January, but it is unclear if Leeds are interested in signing any other players. However, some more cover at centre-back may not go amiss next month.
What could determine Leeds’ level of activity in the January window is if other clubs raid Leeds for some of their players. Six Leeds players have been linked with other clubs so far, including Illan Meslier.
Max Wober is wanted by old club Salzburg and losing the Austrian could mean Leeds enter the market to sign a new central defender. Another defender has been linked with a move to Elland Road in January.

Leeds United make enquiry for Glen Kamara’s Rennes teammate
Leeds have obviously done business with Ligue 1 side Rennes in the last six months. The Whites sold Glen Kamara to Jorge Sampaoli’s side in the summer, a move which saw Leeds double their money on Kamara.
Now, French outlet Jeunes Footeux report that Leeds are interested in doing business with Rennes once again. This time, for Cameroon defender Christopher Wooh who has fallen down the pecking order.
France-born 16-time Cameroon star Wooh was signed by Rennes in the summer of 2022 but two and a half years later, he has been made available for a £5.8m exit and Leeds are said to have made an enquiry.

Christopher Wooh shares an agent with Jean-Kevin Augustin
Leeds fans are well aware of the issues the club have had with Augustin. The striker only played three times for Leeds before a court case ordered that The Whites must pay up the full £24.5m fee for him.
Interestingly, TransferMarkt say Wooh is represented by Sport Cover who also have Augustin on their list of clients. They also boast Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris, a direct promotion rival to Daniel Farke.
Given Leeds will enter the January window as Championship leaders, The Whites will be deemed an attractive proposition by players ahead of promotion to the Premier League and it may just tempt Wooh.
