Leeds United’s transfer business has been quiet of late with no new names for fans to get excited about this January.
The Whites have failed to secure any of their targets as of yet, despite Daniel Farke revealing he wanted three new signings this window.
A number ten is said to be top of Farke’s wishlist, which has saw Leeds linked with a loan move for Emi Buendia.
With Buendia set to remain at Aston Villa however it now seems like the Whites are now turning their attention elsewhere.

Leeds ‘keen’ on signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
According to The Sun, Leeds are reportedly interested in bringing in former Arsenal and Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The report states the midfielder is hoping for a return to English football, having spent the last 18 months in the Super Lig with Besiktas.
Besiktas would be open to allowing the Englishman to leave, most likely on a loan deal with a buy option or obligation.
Leeds are one of several clubs keen on hammering out a deal for Oxlade-Chamberlain, with Premier League sides Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers also hopeful of signing the midfielder.
Both clubs are in the midst of a relegation battle this season. Wolves and the Foxes both value Oxlade-Chamberlain, feeling that his experience and potential for versatility would be vital in their fight against the drop.
Were a Premier League side to come in for Oxlade-Chamberlain, then Leeds may find it hard to talk him into dropping to the second tier of English football.

How would Oxlade-Chamberlain fit in at Leeds United
Oxlade-Chamberlain is a player that can be versatile if necessary. On paper, that is the only way he would feasibly break into the current Leeds team.
Whites manager Farke has mentioned more than once that he is happy with his midfield, which currently consists of Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Josuha Guilavogui, Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka who have all performed well this season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain could provide cover in the number 10 position, which is something United are keen to reinforce, as is evident by Leeds’ pursuits of Aston Villa man Buendia.
If Farke, though, is reluctant to play the likes of Willy Gnonto and Manor Solomon as a 10, it is unlikely he would sign Oxlade-Chamberlain for the role, given it is not his natural position.
Farke has said he wants more signings at Leeds before the window closes, but it is hard to see Oxlade-Chamberlain being one of them.
