Leeds United’s recruitment team are already reportedly busy behind-the-scenes.
The Whites will have been planning for the upcoming summer window months in advance and so preparations will need to be in place for both whether Leeds are in the Premier League or Championship.
Daniel Farke’s side are in a good position to secure automatic promotion as they sit second in the table and with that in mind, have already been linked with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach’s Luca Netz.
Now, according to Damga Gazetesi, Leeds have submitted an early offer of around £7 million for Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel.
However, the Turkish side have responded stating they wish to put negotiations on hold until the summer, as they do not want to make a decision on his future before the end of the season.
Osayi Samuel ‘good enough’ to play for Barcelona
Osayi-Samuel is well known to fans of the EFL having spent time earlier in his career at both Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers, before moving abroad.
During his previous spell in England, Osayi-Samuel was very much a winger but since his switch to Turkey, is now very much a right-back who loves to get forward.

The 26-year-old was part of the Nigeria side that reached the final of AFCON back in January, a time when he was also linked with a move to Leeds as they went in search of a right-back.
He is clearly a player who has developed a lot since leaving England and former Turkey international Guvenc Kurtar even thinks that he could be good enough to play for a team like Real Madrid or Barcelona, if he pushed himself.
Regardless of the division they find themselves in next season, Leeds could be in the market for a right-back with both Luke Ayling and Cody Drameh out of contract, and Roberts’ loan deal not including an option-to-buy.
