Leeds United fans tell the 49ers to sign £30m Chelsea star after his Conference League final display

Leeds United fans will want to make statement signings at Elland Road this summer and fans think they’ve spotted the perfect option.

Daniel Farke will know the Whites fanbase will be demanding a lot from this window, as the likelihood of them staying in the Premier League is low.

To do this, the Leeds hierarchy will need to look into proven Premier League players and with £50m deals on the horizon, it could be a good sign.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, but the Leeds faithful will love to see some ambition after a lack of activity in the previous two windows.

Their lack of activity has granted Leeds £100m+ to spend, and they can put it to good use on one Chelsea player.

Leeds United fans want Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

A name all too familiar to supporters is Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

This is due to him playing a major part in Leicester City’s Championship title-winning campaign, as Dewsbury-Hall praised Leeds for their efforts.

His work in this season earned him a £30m switch to Chelsea, in which he hasn’t exactly set the world alight.

But the midfielder got some minutes in Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final, grabbing the assist for Jadon Sancho’s goal in Chelsea’s triumph.

This got Leeds fans flocking over to X to discuss the possibility of bringing the midfielder to Elland Road, who will no doubt be considering his future after a lack of game time.

@ConorMcGilligxn kicked off the debate, saying: “Wouldn’t mind Dewsbury-Hall on a cheeky loan.”

@AdamRoom17 loves the idea, as he said: “Been saying he’d be one of my top targets. Just don’t see it being likely.”

“Be a brilliant move for both,” @nigel_dylan said.

@andrewkearns11 believes he will want game time: “Said this the other day, not playing much.”

@AntonyCarlHiggs claimed: “Would be rather cheeky.”

@_RB_Ash agreed, saying: “100%.”

Dewsbury-Hall could be the perfect midfielder for Leeds

This certainly isn’t a stab in the dark, as although the Whites haven’t shown interest in the 26-year-old, the signs point to a great deal for all parties.

Dewsbury-Hall hasn’t exactly had the best start to life in West London, and a loan move could not only help his career, but Farke will also be getting a midfielder who is Premier League-proven.

Adding to why the midfielder could be frustrated to leave is that he only played 11 minutes in the Europa Conference League campaign he took by storm.

Not only does he work defensively, but he can also provide in attack, which is similar to Gustavo Hamer whom Leeds want.

Dewsbury-Hall could be the Hamer alternative, or both could arrive at Elland Road, and fans are certainly in favour of the Englishman joining.
