Leeds United are now interested in signing another winger after the addition of Manor Solomon, as Daniel Farke’s side desperately look to bolster the squad in the final days of the window.

Solomon’s loan move from Tottenham was confirmed on Tuesday evening as the Israel ace joins Leeds on a dry loan for the 2024-25 season. Leeds secured his signature despite interest from Ajax and Getafe.

Solomon is expected to be in the squad to face Hull City on Saturday at Elland Road as Leeds look to stay unbeaten in the Championship after two draws and a win. But Leeds are not done in the transfer market.

Leeds have now replaced Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter with Solomon and Largie Ramazani but a midfielder and a new full-back are still on the agenda. Another winger could also be brought in.

Leeds eye Farense’s Algerian winger Belloumi after scouting him

Portguese outlet Record say Leeds are interested in a move to sign Farense star Belloumi. The Algeria star impressed in his first season in Portugal’s top tier last season, having a hand in 12 goals in 38 games.

The report says Leeds have been watching Belloumi for months, visiting Portugal more than once during 2023-24 to keep tabs on the left-footed right winger. He has a release clause worth a whopping £12.6m.

Leeds now well-stocked out wide but still want another winger

It is a strange one. Leeds have replaced Rutter and Summerville in terms of attacking numbers with the additions of Solomon and Ramazani. Jaidon Anthony’s exit has been replaced by Brenden Aaronson.

Leeds are now well as strong in numbers in attack as they were last term. Solomon, Ramazani, Wilfried Gnonto, Dan James and Brenden Aaronson are all vying for one of the three slots behind the striker.

However, Leeds continue to be linked with Freiburg’s Hungary star Roland Sallai and are pushing for the 27-year-old and now, Belloumi is also being considered as an option. Surely, it cannot be a priority.
