Leeds United’s recruitment team are currently out in Germany as they continue work on new transfers.
Daniel Farke‘s squad are out there for pre-season and so those behind-the-scenes are said to have joined them to keep in constant contact with the Leeds boss over potential deals.
Leeds haven’t made a single signing while they have been away in Germany with their most recent addition coming last weekend when a deal for Jayden Bogle was wrapped up.
Bogle became signing number four of the summer and has not taken long to settle in, providing an assist for Mateo Joseph shortly after coming on in the 4-1 win over Hannover.
Farke is still keen to add further to his squad, though, and more deals in the mould of Bogle would go a long way to ensuring a successful transfer window.

Update shared on Leeds’ interest in Dejan Ljubicic
One of the positions in which Farke is looking to strengthen is central midfield, with the addition of Joe Rothwell not seen as a direct replacement for Glen Kamara.
Leeds have also lost Archie Gray this summer and it is clear Farke is looking to add more goals and directness from that area of the field.
And with Leeds currently out in Germany, the man who has seemingly emerged as target number one if FC Koln’s Dejan Ljubicic.
Leeds have seen an initial £3.3 million offer turned down by the Bundesliga side, but according to Team Talk, it may not be long before a new one is lodged for the ‘special‘ Austrian international.
It is said a second bid in the region of £4.2m-£5.1m could be in by the end of the weekend, which would make sense.
With Leeds currently out in Germany until early next week, the two clubs will be able to conduct face-to-face talks over the next few days in order to thrash out a deal.
Leeds will be keen to have Ljubicic in squad for Valencia
Though Leeds will, of course, have a long list of targets, if Ljubicic is number one, they will be keen to get a deal done quickly.
With just 12 months left on his contract, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get done and so hopefully this second offer is enough to tempt Koln into selling.
Both Farke and Paraag Marathe were confident Leeds’ squad would be all but ready for the opening day of the season and having that midfielder signing done would go a long way towards doing so.
Leeds’ final pre-season friendly is in eight days’ time against Valencia and having Ljubicic involved in that will at least give him some time to settle in and understand his role.
