Ever since Georginio Rutter’s move to Brighton, it has been very quiet on the exit front at Leeds United.
Across the whole of Europe, no club has raised more money through player sales than Leeds this summer and so clearly they have been keen to resist any more offers.
The lack of squad depth at Leeds was very much highlighted in the 2-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday seven days ago, with a real lack of options on the bench.
Daniel Farke was forced to name two goalkeepers, and three youngsters who are still yet to debut, despite only Patrick Bamford and Max Wober being out through injury.
As such, Leeds have not really been in a position to allow anyone else to leave, despite interest in a couple including Wober and Wilfried Gnonto.

Leeds stance on Joe Gelhardt’s future
Much of the focus on deadline day will be who comes into Elland Road as opposed to who goes out, with Ao Tanaka expected to be the first announced by Leeds.
Isaac Schmidt is then set to follow providing he passes a medical and completes the formalities of a move, but there is hope for another attacking addition on top of that.
Roland Sallai and Gustavo Hamer have both been heavily linked with moves to Leeds and if one of those two, or even someone who has not reached the press yet, were to come in, it could see one go out.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds would be prepared to sanction a loan move for Joe Gelhardt if another attacker arrives.
Gelhardt has not started a league match for Leeds in over a year and could really do with some regular minutes as his development has become very stagnant.
The addition of Sallai or Hamer would only limit his chance of game time at Leeds even further, which already looks pretty restricted.

Leeds should loan out Gelhardt anyway
Gelhardt was handed a start in the Carabao Cup against Middlesbrough and produced a performance that prompted Aidy White to call him ‘talented‘, but quite clearly in need of a loan.
It is hard to disagree with White’s comments as he really struggled to make an impact, but that is understandable given how little he has played.
With new signings Largie Ramazani and Manor Solomon having arrived since then, he is now behind at least six players in the pecking order for a place in those three positions behind the striker.
It is not fair on Gelhardt for him to spend another season sitting on the bench and not playing.
