Leeds United remain in the market to strengthen at full-back but one target can be crossed off the list.
Daniel Farke revealed as early as after the second friendly of pre-season that it is a position he is keen to add to, even after the arrival of Jayden Bogle from Sheffield United.
It is now three weeks since official confirmation of Bogle’s move to Elland Road arrived, with Leeds not having made a single signing since then.
Leeds now have less than three weeks to conduct any remaining transfer business, of which there is plenty to do, under Farke‘s own admission.
As well as full-back, another central midfielder and winger are also wanted, and that could still increase if more players are sold by Leeds in the coming weeks.

Winner revealed in race for Wolves’ Hugo Bueno
Leeds have arguably the best full-back pairing in the Championship with Bogle and Junior Firpo, but beyond them, there isn’t much depth.
Sam Byram is the only senior backup and can cover on both sides. However, it would be fair to say that all three have had their injury issues in the past.
As such, Leeds are keen on adding to their left-back options and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Hugo Bueno is one player they have been looking at.
However, according to Sky Sports, Leeds will be forced to turn their attentions elsewhere, with Feyenoord set to win the race for Bueno on a season-long-loan.
Celtic and Norwich City had also been keen on a deal for Bueno, but it is the Dutch side who have agreed the terms of a loan with Wolves.
Leeds were always going to find it tough convincing Wolves that Elland Road was the right place for Bueno’s development due to their inability to guarantee him regular game time straight away.

Leeds should target Bristol City star as alternative
With Firpo very much first choice, any left-back Leeds look to sign will need to be happy to come in and play second fiddle, at least early on.
If Firpo’s injury record is anything to go by, opportunities will be there across the course of the season and one player they should target is Cameron Pring.
Pring is currently at Bristol City and was very much a regular for the Robins last season, making 42 Championship appearances, 39 of which came from the start.
At 26, Pring would bring Championship experience to Leeds’ squad at a cost well within their budget, with former Whites midfielder Carlton Palmer suggesting back in January he is worth around the £2 million mark.
Though not quite at the level of Firpo, Pring has a decent assist record at this level, having provided 10 in 116 appearances, which is what Leeds need as a backup.
