Leeds United are becoming increasingly active in the transfer window after the sale of Crysencio Summerville but The Whites are set to miss out on a midfielder recently linked with a move.
Summerville’s exit has given Leeds cash to spend in the final few weeks of the window, with Leeds said to be eyeing a move for a new full-back, midfielder and a replacement for West Ham’s new Dutch winger.
Leeds have been linked with Norwich City gem Jonathan Rowe, with the 21-year-old ace scoring 12 goals in the Championship last term. Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that Leeds want a deal below £10m.
Another recent target is Wolves defender Hugo Bueno, on loan. But Leeds are yet to make any moves with Saturday’s opener against Portsmouth quickly coming into view, as Leeds welcome Pompey north.

Leeds target Brahima Diarra makes decision on future
Brahima Diarra impressed for Huddersfield Town last season as the 21-year-old clocked up 23 senior appearances for The Terriers. But he could not prevent relegation, before his Huddersfield deal expired.
Free agent Diarra has since attracted interest from the likes of Leeds and Leicester. Described as “consistent”, interest in the Mali star’s signature has been growing but now a decision is edging close.
A report from Turkish outlet Sivas Memleket says Diarra has agreed personal terms with Sivasspor. He is expected to arrive in Turkey this weekend before signing on as a free agent at the SuperLig club.

A talent, but Diarra now shown enough to warrant Leeds move
Yes, Leeds need a versatile midfielder but there’s no point signing bog-standard players or youngsters with only half-decent potential – at least, compared to what Leeds already have at Farke’s disposal.
Diarra is that and while he might come good should he find himself the right club, a move to Leeds would just see his career stagnate and by the time he was too old for the U21 side, he’d find himself fizzling out.
A move to Sivasspor might given him the necessary game time to go and shine, potentially as a stepping stone to one of the better clubs in Turkey, before a potential move back to European football.
