Adam Underwood has stepped up Leeds United’s pursuit of new signings in the last fortnight but with new additions expected, outgoings are also expected at Elland Road.

Leeds have completed their first signing of the summer in Lukas Nmecha. The Germany international has signed a two-year contract at Elland Road and he will officially be a Leeds player on the first of July.

Fabrizio Romano has also used his trademark “here we go” to describe the advanced state of Leeds’ move for Jaka Bijol. Udinese have also made a move to sign his replacement, in Spezia defender Nicolo Bertola.

Leeds are also said to have opened talks for Noah Sadiki, while The Whites are said to have opened talks for Alex Moreno, Maxime Stroeykens and Reinildo Mandava in recent days. Exits are likely to happen, too.

When Junior Firpo is expected to complete Real Betis move

With new signings imminent, Underwood will have to sanction the exit of some players to make room and remain above the line when it comes to PSR. Five players are already scheduled to leave this month.

Manor Solomon and Joe Rothwell’s loans have come to an end. Josuha Guilavogui has been confirmed as leaving on a free, while Sam Byram and Junior Firpo will see their contracts expire in less than a fortnight.

It is expected that Firpo will return to Real Betis on a free transfer and now, Spanish site Mucho Deporte actually claim the left-back will be announced by Betis in the next week – with talks at an advanced stage.

Who else could join Junior Firpo in leaving Leeds United?

Thomas Frank wants to take a look at Solomon before making a decision, while there has been no news on Byram’s future. It is likely Rothwell will return to Bournemouth rather than a permanent Leeds switch.

Guilavogui and Firpo have left. So, any other players that leave Leeds will be sold. Illan Meslier is “done” at Leeds according to Phil Hay, while Patrick Bamford’s future is in doubt after the signing of Nmecha.

Mateo Joseph is keen to join Real Betis, while Max Wober says Leeds have told him he will be sold and Isaac Schmidt is open to offers. Plenty going on at Leeds then, with The Whites open to many leaving.
