An entire plethora of players have left Leeds United in many different ways this summer. Some have been sold, some have gone on loan and others have left Elland Road on a free transfer.
Seven have been sold including Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Glen Kamara, while the likes of Jack Harrison and Rasmus Kristensen are just two of five players to depart Leeds on a temporary basis.
Many more have been allowed to leave on a free at the end of their contracts. Cody Drameh, Luke Ayling, Ian Poveda and Jamie Shackleton have joined Championship clubs on free transfers after deals expired.
Another is Liam Cooper, who remains a free agent just a few days before the start of the Championship season. Watford are said to have held talks recently for Cooper, while a move to Blackburn fell through.

The 32-year-old defender, who was part of Scotland’s Euro 2024 squad, saw his contract expire. Leeds offered the left-footed centre-back new terms, but those wages have been rejected by the Leeds ace.
Leeds are yet to announce Cooper’s exit, though they have replaced him as captain and his exit has been all but confirmed. Last summer, Cooper was the subject of interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah.
With Leeds back in action on Saturday, Cooper finds himself without a new home and a move overseas has not been ruled out. Now, he could move north of the border and play for his inherited nation.
Celtic and Rangers touted as possible summer option for Cooper
The Glasgow Evening Times report that both Old Firm sides are looking to sign an experienced centre-back this summer. Celtic made the perfect start to the Premiership season, a 4-0 win over Kilmarnock.
Rangers meanwhile, were held 0-0 by Hearts. But, Philippe Clement’s side did score a late equaliser to draw 1-1 away from home against Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of their Champions League qualifying tie.
The Evening Times suggest both Celtic and Rangers could consider a move to sign the Scotland defender on a free in the coming days and weeks. A move to either club in the Champions League surely appeals.
