Interest in Leeds United’s key players is not expected to stop despite the sales of Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray already this summer.
The Whites have brought in a combined total of around £65 million for those two and have also sold the likes of Glen Kamara, Charlie Cresswell, Diego Llorente and Marc Roca for fees too.
With that in mind, that should put Leeds in a much stronger position at the negotiating table, which was the message portrayed by the club even before Summerville’s exit at the weekend.
Last month, Daniel Farke refused to rule out the possibility of both Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto leaving, though after Everton saw a £23 million bid turned down for the latter, it is clear Leeds want to keep him.
It remains to be seen whether Everton return with another bid but Gnonto is not the only player who has been attracting interest since the beginning of the window.

Brighton stance on Georginio Rutter revealed
Though fans may be disappointed at losing Gray, Summerville and Kamara all in the same summer, 49ers Enterprises have had to fend off a lot of interest in other players.
Illan Meslier was linked with a move to Marseille, Pascal Struijk has been on Torino’s shortlist and at one stage, Junior Firpo had looked as though he was heading to Real Betis.
But the biggest test of their resolve to date came from Brighton back at the start of July, who saw a £30 million bid rejected for Georginio Rutter.
Rutter was one of four Leeds players Brighton were looking at this summer but is the only one they are believed to have made a bid for, and the likelihood of them returning has now been revealed by the Athletic.
It is said Leeds’ decision to reject such an offer for the Frenchman has now seen Brighton cool their interest, with 49ers keen to hold out for a ‘sizeable’ fee if it does come to selling him.
Leeds, of course, paid £35.5 million to sign the ‘fantastic‘ Rutter back in January 2023, and so any offer is likely to have to be in excess of that for it to make sense to let him go from a financial perspective.

What is Rutter’s stance on his Leeds future
Based on his display against Valencia in Leeds’ final pre-season friendly, Rutter looks as though he could well be the main man this season.
As usual, Rutter played with a smile on his face and that certainly reflected in his performance as he registered both a goal and an assist.
Rutter has shown no sign of wanting an Elland Road exit this summer and when news of Brighton’s big money offer emerged, his stance on a potential move was revealed.
It is said the 22-year-old is happy at Leeds and certainly won’t push for a move. Hopefully Leeds continue to fend off any bids.
